Everyone at one time or other needs a "friend" to help them out. Sometimes it is a financial thing, sometimes it is an emotional thing and sometimes it is just a shoulder to cry on. Within the Church are men who have been set aside by the Church to help the pastor minister to their people. Deacons are their title.
