FUNGUS AMONG US Jude 1:12 Synopsis
Builders are careful about what is used to build a building. They choose only the straightest lumber and the strongest and best looking materials. They want to be proud of what they have built. The early Church had some non-Christians as members. Jude called them "clouds without water and trees without fruit." Mold and fungus are parasites living off other living things contributing nothing but existing on the surface of that which they have attached themselves. God's Church is to be pure and non-believers are not a part of God's Church. They are a type of "fungus."
