ETERNAL DAMNATION Luke 16:19-31 Synopsis
Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazarus to help people realize that death ends a person's ability to make choices. There is a place called Hell that Jesus describes as being the place where all unbelievers go immediately upon their death. He uses "garbage dump" language to try to describe the terrible conditions of such a place. We are reminded that as long as we are alive we can still change our eternal destination, and by believing in Jesus Christ we can be sure that we will not be going to Hell but to God's Heaven.
