When the rush and hurry is over we tend to relax, allow things to just go their own way and "catch our breath" we say. Israel did this after finally getting into their promised land. In doing so, they put God aside, not giving Him His rightful place. The Christian is no different for there are times when things happen and before one realizes it, God has been put aside.
