Enjoy the benefits of being saved by faith
Summary
So often we miss out because of ignorance.
Christianity is much more than forgiveness through Christ. Our Salvation changes everything about life here and now, and in eternity. We can have confidence in God.
1. Confidence in our relationship with God. The war is over between us and God - we are at peace with God. Jesus takes our guilt and punishment and gives us His peace. Access to God is open. We have this now.
2. Confidence in our future. Rejoice in the hope. God will bring us into His glorious presence. We can be certain that we will participate in our eternal future with God. Hope in the Bible is something certain, but we don't see it yet.
3. Confidence, despite trouble. (v3,4) Suffering does not mean we are out of favour with God. Suffering can help us to remember the things that are important.

Why can we be so certain? (v5) God wants us to have absolute confidence in Him, God will never disappoint. And because we know Him. Also God's work in His Son (v6-8) is a clear fact that God has done it all. God has done the big thing and will follow through with everything else. (V9-10)
