Church is not like a bank ATM - come to get something from God.
1. Accept each other v7. Welcome and invite others into our circle. Christ welcomed us, and accepted us even when we were His enemies. Be careful of clashes over things that don't really matter. V1 be supportive.
2. So we can build the Body (v2). Need to concentrate of the things that really matter. (v8) - Jesus wants His people to be a light to reach out to people. A united group under one King. What about our local church. If something does not keep us from God, it must not keep us from each other. Meet to build together.
3. Hope. (v13) (Romans 8:23-25) Hope is about things that are certain, but not yet received. (V3-4) Our Hope is based on the scriptures. God, in Church, is speaking to us together through the Bible. All God's people will be together in His glorious presence. V13 - Paul's prayer of Hope.
