Mark 10:17-31   Reading
Studies in the book of: Mark
One thing you lack
Summary
An important question. This man had been living as was expected of him. Why was he concerned about eternity? Often we have childhood views about God and eternity?
1. The was a problem with this man. Jesus asked the man to do the one thing he couldn't do. He loved his wealth, and he loved it the way he should have loved God. He had no relationship with God.
2. What must I do to get to God's place. Self achievement is not the answer. Jesus loved Him.
3. The most important question - 'Who then can be saved?' Note Jesus' answer - Jesus came to do the impossible for us. Only those who are forgiven by God are saved.
