What is the priority of the Church in the community. Christ came to do the most valuable thing - to preach a message.
1. He was sent. He came with God's power and authority. He was pre-existent - alive before Bethlehem. They could see His authority. Assures us God is concerned with our world.
2. He preached. His preaching priority over healing, and not always received well. His goal was not something that can be forced. Same with a relationship with God. (also way you cannot have a Christian state). Acts 8:4 - the people preached the Word.
3. Bring 'the Good News' of the rule of God's King. To set captives free. He has authority to put it right. Offering help to others is secondary to proclaiming the Good News.
