Do not worry - Invest wisely
Summary
Don't worry.
1. The fool. The man is blessed with abundance. He was a fool because he ignored God in his life's plans. Life is more than possessions (v15). Many kinds of greed - we are all vulnerable.
2. Do not worry (about stuff). Why?
(a) Because we are more than what we eat or wear. Our true dignity is that we are God's creatures. (b) We are of great worth to God. Animals matter to God, but we are more important. (c) We are not God. The man though he could do everything (note the use of 'I').
Who is God? Our provider. God is our Father (v29,30). Our whole outlook will be different.
3. How do we not worry. (v31) 'Seek' - His rule - run after this.
(a) Consider. The ravens, wild flowers. Get to know what God has revealed. (b) Invest and divest wisely. Treasure in heaven. A lifestyle of generosity. Invest ourselves - our heart.
