How do we handle doubts about our Christian hope? It will certainly come, and suddenly (like a thief). Until then, there will always be those who oppose the Church. So don't be unsettled by this.
We are to 'hold on to what we have been told'. Remember the facts about Christian (eg his actual death, resurrection etc). Five certainties we can rely on: Jesus has won, we are loved, we are chosen, we are sanctified, we will share in His glory.
