How do we effect the people around us?
1. How do we relate to other Christians (v9) Love must be sincere. Need to be sacrificial, as God's love for us is sacrificial. Often what do is not seen by others. v11 Keep going. In regard to good and evil (v9b) we need to come back to God's word.
2. Reaching non-Christians (v14). Bless. Illustrated by v15. V17 Don't repay with evil. When we are the victim, how do we respond. (also v21) Leave revenge to God, as He is the true judge. Our actions are specified in v20,21.
3. We can only do this because God has changed us and forgiven us. 1 John 4:19 -we love, because He first loved us.
