Godly Marriages
Summary
What makes a good (or better a 'Godly') marriage? Three things:
1. Submission. This has received very bad press for the last 100 years. Submission is not necessarily a bad thing. It is a high calling. Four examples are given. Note: this does not mean she has to submit to abuse.
2. Beauty. Not external beauty alone. Inner beauty (v4) that comes from trusting and growing Christ.
3. Husbands showing honour. Be understanding, spend time together learning about each other. Pray for and with your wife.
