Luke 2:1-20   Reading
Studies in the book of: Luke
A saviour has been born to you
Summary
Why were the shepherds terrified? The 'glory of the Lord'. They knew they were not fit to stand in God's presence. But the angel came for a different reason: 'do not be afraid - I bring good news...'. Born to all, not just his immediate family. When we recognise our need, Christ's coming is good news.
How can He be rescuer of all? Only God can do this.
