Restored!
Summary
Many cultures know only too well that evil spirits exist. This man was a shell of a man. He runs and falls on his knees in front of Jesus. Why? This story demonstrates:
1. Jesus is more powerful than evil. With one word Jesus controls evil.
2. Notice the people's respond to Jesus. The village people who knew him well - they were afraid because God was at work. Their Gentile understanding could not comprehend God's care - so they asked Jesus to leave.
3. The restored man begs to go with Jesus. He now has a new relationship with God. When Jesus changes us, He changes our heart and conscience.
