What is the Christian view of marriage and divorce.
1. What Jesus was asked. The religious rulers wanted to talk about divorce, Jesus wanted to talk about marriage. Divorce is a concession under Moses. It is not a command as the Pharisee's indicated. It is never OK to divorce.
2. Paul - don't divorce. Always try to be reconciled. Divorce can often be an easy way out. There is no place for Christians who grit their teeth and bear each other. Need to work through the issues.
3. What you cannot control. If an unbeliever leaves, let them leave.
4. God's grace will always triumph over our failures.
