The claims of Jesus are courageous, and more than just a moral teacher.
1. Just another act of compassion. Healed the man. Zechariah 13:2 God will banish the unclean spirit from the land. Jesus is doing that. The Kingdom of God has come.
2. The willfulness of unbelief. It is more than just lack of evidence. Here the accusation is ludicrous and demolished by Jesus. People acknowledged Jesus did miracles. People don't want to believe - it is not about evidence. Why does Jesus bother with us? Compassion. He wants to give the opportunity to change. Where else can we go for Salvation?
3. Can we be neutral about God? V23-25. A battle is being waged for our soul - we can't reform ourselves. God will give His Holy Spirit if we ask.
