The Road to Glory
Summary
Jesus has prepared a place for us. But we are not there yet. There are considerations and costs on the way.
1. Jesus' road to Glory. Jesus sets for Jerusalem, but not expecting a royal reception. Note final destination - 'up to heaven'. He takes the hard road via the cross. Hebrews 12:2.
2. What does it mean to follow Him. Three examples. (a) This present world is not our home. (b) Following Him must take the highest priority in life, even over family and other responsibilities. (c) All following is at a cost - death to self. Let us not look back to what we have left of the world. Our treasure is not here.
