What is the full purpose of Jesus' 1st coming.
1. Better to talk about Jesus coming. Jesus existed, even before creating Bring 'fire' (righteous judgement). Why did He come to do that - (v50) but, He came to die. (our judgement). Take our place.
2. Division, not peace. (v51). What about the angels said! - we ignore 'those on who He favour rests' that the angels also said. Either under God's anger (born that way) or under is favour (result of Jesus' death).
3. The end of division. (v54,55). People often refuse to interpret spiritual realities and the state of the world. Judge things rightly - we are the problem. Be reconciled to God, or suffer His justice.
